Baileys Irish Cream liqueur is the original Irish cream and nothing short of legendary. The iconic drink was originally created by Thomas Edwin Jago ― who is also credited for creating Malibu and Johnnie Walker Blue Label ― for W&A Gilbey in 1974. With his team, he concocted the brilliant idea of combining two Irish treasures ― whiskey and dairy cream. After 2 years of experimentation, they finally came up with the recipe that included some of the finest spirits, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. The recipe endures today under Diageo's ownership.
The quality ingredients play a crucial role in Baileys. 200 million liters of fresh Irish milk that mostly comes from small, family-owned farms are used each year in the production of the cream that ends up in Baileys. The cream is then homogenized with whiskey from several distilleries, employing a process that prevents the liquids from separating. Several other secret ingredients, herbs, and sugar are a part of the recipe which includes their proprietary cocoa extract.
Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur is sweet, smooth, and creamy with rich chocolate, vanilla, and whiskey notes. The 34-proof drink is versatile as well ― it's equally delicious over ice, in cocktails, with ice cream, coffee, and even incorporated into cakes.
Shipping Information
A. The Whisky & Whiskey Shipping Insurance must be purchased at time of checkout in order to cover lost, stolen or damaged shipments.
B. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Whisky & Whiskey does not take responsibility for minor damage.
C. Whisky & Whiskey is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Whisky & Whiskey damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
G. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
